Policies

Our instructors are safety conscious, but by the very nature of the activity, gymnastics carries a risk of minor or serious injury.  Skills and activities are taught slowly, carefully and in a progressive manner.  Instructors are trained to follow appropriate spotting techniques, skill progressions and safety procedures.  Accidents with minor or serious injuries can occur. Parents and children should be aware of the risks involved, read and review the safety rules, abide by the gym rules and policies, and accept full responsibility for their actions.  Hill\’s Gymnastics has the right to restrict any activity that we consider unsafe.

Registration Policies

Our class program runs year round.  All classes are billed on a monthly schedule.  Classes are prorated based on registration dates.  We reserve the right to cancel or shorten a class with low enrollment.  We offer a 10% discount for siblings (discount applied to the lower price class, immediate family only) and a 25% discount if a student signs up for a second class.

All persons using the gym facility must create an iClass account in the parent portal of our website and sign our activity waiver.  The consent and release agreement MUST be signed by the parent or guardian if the student is under the age of 18.  Participants must carry their OWN insurance and are responsible for any medical bills incurred resulting from illness or injury.

Our Super Tot, Mini Gymies, and Gym Gents classes are limited to no more than 8 children per instructor.  Classes for older students are limited to 10 students per instructor. 

Payment Policies

Tuition price is based on four classes per month.  Some months may have three or five classes based on the number of weeks or holidays.  Tuition will increase if your class has a fifth week in that calendar month and will be prorated if there are less than four classes.  Tuition is due upon enrollment.  Tuition can now be paid fully online through your parent portal account.  You can save a debit or credit card to your account in order to make payment easier.  Cash, Check, Visa and Mastercard are all accepted ($25 charge for returned checks).  Please Register Carefully!  Once a family is billed for a month, there are NO REFUNDS.  Families can set their start and drop dates for any class at any time.  Classes are billed on the 1st of each month.  Make up tokens or credits are given to students who drop their enrollment mid month. 

Gym Attire

Students should be dressed in comfortable clothing that allows freedom of movement.  NO zippers, belts, shoes, socks, jewelry, or watches are allowed.  Long hair must be tied back.  These are important safety measures.  Valuable items should NOT be brought to the gym.  Hill\’s Gymnastics will NOT be responsible for lost or stolen items.

Snow Policy

Hill\’s Gymnastics does NOT follow Montgomery County School closings.  In case of inclement weather, check our website or call the gym.  If we have to cancel classes for any reason, special make up arrangements will be made.

Class Make Up Policy

When a gymnast misses class a Make Up Token will be added to their account.  The Make Up Token can be used to join any other class of the same level.  Make Up Tokens can also be used for Open Gyms.
